Google Analytics

Never spend money on marketing without setting up visitor tracking first.

Google Analytics helps your track visitors so you can tell where they came from, how they found you, how long they stayed on your site, what they looked at, what they bought and how much they paid.

If you're using online marketing, like Google Adwords, you'll know what keyword they used to find your ad, how many people have clicked on that ad and how much that ad cost you vs. how much people spent after clicking that ad. That type of information is invaluable when buying online advertising.

Googles visual interface (right) makes it easy to find the information you need. You can even setup reports that will be emailed to you on a regular basis. With Google Analytics, you're more prepared to write better-targeted ads, strengthen your marketing initiatives and create higher converting websites.

Visit Google Analytics to find a complete features list.

How does it install?
All you have to do is add your Google Analytics Profile ID number to Main Settings in the Admin.

We take ID and generate the proper code for Google Analytics to read. It appears on every page. We also add some code to properly report your order totals so you have accurate conversion information.

Where do I get my ID number?
If you already a Google account of any kind, send us the email address attached to that account and we'll setup an account for you. If not, go here to register for a free Google account.

OR, you can register for an Analytics account yourself by going here. Once you have your Profile ID, enter it under Mail Settings of your Cfwebstore website.

Does it work with Google Adwords?
Yes. Google Analytics and Google Adwords are intergrated to work together. If you already have an Adwords account then you already have an Analytics account setup under the same login.

Is Google's free sofware as effective as paid visitor tracking software?
When Google Analytics was first introduced, it was a fairly basic program that didn't have everything you might want to track on an eCommerce store. However, over the past few years Google has added so many features you would be hard pressed to find a paid commercial product that can do more. We highly recommend you use Google Analytics even if you add another visitor tracking package later on. You can have multiple tracking scripts on a website.
